Divisibility Rules of 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6

After reading this, you will be able to determine quickly, whether a certain number is divisible by a certain number (divisor) or not. You will be learn the divisibility rules of 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. For different divisors, the rules are different. Read them one by one and practice them as per exercise given. After a little practice you will be able to memorize all the rules.

If the last digit of any number is either 0 or even, the number will be divisible by 2.

For example 10, 34, 46 are even numbers hence they are divisible by 2 but 3, 13, 99 are odd numbers hence they are not divisible by 2.

1. Principle of Continuity

Development follows continuity. It starts with the birth and ends with the death. It is a continuous process in various dimensions.

2. Individual Differences
